Properties are fields in your Participant Database that are filterable, sortable, and searchable across Rally.
Creating Properties in Rally
Properties can be created and updated the following ways:
- Manually created in your
Property Manager
- Uploading participant data via CSV
- Mapping screener responses to Properties
- Syncing Properties to Fields in Salesforce
What types of Properties are supported in Rally?
You can find the Property Manager
under Settings
. Here are the key types we support:
- Text
- Number
- Date
- Single-Select
- Multi-Select
- Checkbox
Key Properties baked into Rally
There are a lot of very valuable properties that come "out of the box" with Rally. Check out a few below:
- Person -- auto-generated property which combines "First Name" and Last Name properties (or email if there is no First Name or Last Name associated with the Participant)
- First Name
- Last Name
- Import Source
- Import Date
- Opted Out -- denotes if the Participant manually opted-out/unsubscribed from emails
- Panels -- membership in certain Panels
- Segments -- part of a certain segment defined in your workspace
